๐Ÿ›’ THE INGREDIENTS

The Chipotle Chicken

  • ๐Ÿ— Halal Chicken breast 2 large pieces

  • ๐Ÿง‚ Salt & Black pepper 1 teaspoon (mixed)

  • ๐Ÿง„ Garlic powder 1 teaspoon

  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Paprika 1 teaspoon

  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Chipotle peppers in adobo 3 tablespoons (crushed into paste)

  • ๐Ÿฏ Honey 2 tablespoons

  • ๐Ÿบ Cooking Oil 2 tablespoons

The Sauce & Pasta

  • ๐Ÿ Linguine pasta 400g

  • ๐Ÿง… Onion 1 small (finely diced)

  • ๐Ÿง„ Garlic cloves 2 (minced)

  • ๐Ÿงˆ Butter 2 tablespoons

  • ๐Ÿฅ› Heavy cream 1 cup

  • ๐Ÿง€ Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup (shredded)

  • ๐ŸŒฟ Parsley or Cilantro 1 handful (chopped)


๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ THE METHOD

1. The Marinade & Prep (0โ€“10 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Preheat: Set your oven to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF).

  2. ๐Ÿฅ˜ Boil: Fill the Large pot with salted water and bring to a boil on High heat.

  3. ๐Ÿฅฃ Glaze: In your Small bowl, whisk together the Chipotle paste and Honey.

  4. ๐Ÿ— Season: Dust the Chicken with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Coat the breasts with half of the chipotle-honey glaze.

2. The Sear & Bake (10โ€“25 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿณ Sear: Heat Oil in the Frying pan over Medium-High. Sear chicken for 3 Minutes per side until dark brown.

  2. โฒ๏ธ Roast: Place the entire pan into the oven. Bake for 10 Minutes (internal temp should reach 74ยฐC/165ยฐF).

  3. ๐Ÿ Pasta: While the chicken bakes, drop the Linguine into the boiling water for 9 Minutes.

  4. ๐Ÿฅข Rest: Use Oven mitts to remove the pan. Move chicken to a plate to rest; do not clean the pan!

3. The Chipotle Cream Sauce (25โ€“40 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿง… Sautรฉ: In the same hot pan, add the Onion. Stir for 2 Minutes to scrape up the flavorful brown bits (fond).

  2. ๐Ÿง„ Aromatics: Add Garlic, Butter, and the remaining half of the chipotle-honey glaze.

  3. ๐Ÿฅ› Simmer: Pour in the Heavy cream. Let it bubble gently on Low heat for 3 Minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. ๐Ÿง€ Emulsify: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth. ๐Ÿ›‘ Turn the stove Off.

  5. ๐Ÿ Toss: Drain the pasta and fold it directly into the sauce. Slice the Chicken into strips and lay them over the pasta. Finish with Greens.


๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ SAFETY FIRST

  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Oven-Safe Warning: Ensure your frying pan does not have plastic handles. After removing it from the oven, the handle will stay dangerously hot for 20 minutes. Keep an Oven mitt draped over the handle as a visual reminder.

  • ๐Ÿ Splash Hazard: When adding pasta to boiling water, slide it in gently. Dropping it from a height can cause boiling water to splash your hands or face.

  • ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Chipotle Caution: Adobo sauce contains concentrated chili oils. If you get it on your fingers, wash them twice with dish soap before touching your face, eyes, or contacts to avoid intense burning.
