The Assembly

  • ๐Ÿž Slider buns 12 (brioche or potato rolls)

  • ๐Ÿฅ’ Pickles 12 slices

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ THE METHOD

1. The Reverse Sear (0โ€“20 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Preheat: Set your oven to 135ยฐC (275ยฐF).

  2. ๐Ÿง‚ Season: In a Small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sprinkle generously over both sides of the Patties.

  3. โฒ๏ธ Slow Cook: Place patties on the Baking sheet and bake for 15 Minutes, or until a Meat thermometer reads 49ยฐC (120ยฐF).

2. The Bacon Jam (10โ€“30 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿฅ“ Render: Place Beef bacon strips into a cold frying pan. Turn the heat to Medium-Low.

  2. ๐Ÿง… Soften: Once the fat starts to melt, add the Onion. Cook until the onion is translucent and the bacon is crispy.

  3. ๐Ÿ Glaze: Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Apple cider vinegar, and Maple syrup.

  4. โณ Reduce: Simmer until the liquid becomes thick and syrupy (like jam). ๐Ÿ›‘ Turn the heat Off.

3. The Crust & Assembly (30โ€“45 Mins)

  1. ๐Ÿ”ฅ High Heat: Get your Grill or heavy pan very hot on High heat.

  2. ๐Ÿฅฉ Sear: Move the warm patties to the grill. Sear for 1 Minute per side to get a dark, caramelized crust.

  3. ๐Ÿง€ Melt: Place a slice of Cheese on each patty immediately after flipping.

  4. ๐Ÿ” Build: Place a Pickle on the bottom bun, add the cheesy Patty, and top with a large spoonful of the Bacon Jam.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ SAFETY FIRST

  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ High-Heat Flare-ups: The final sear happens fast and hot. Use Long tongs to keep your hands and arms away from the direct flame or heat source.

  • ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Internal Temp: Using a Meat thermometer is the only way to ensure the prime rib is cooked to your preferred doneness while remaining safe to eat.

  • ๐Ÿฅ“ Grease Splatter: Beef bacon fat can "pop" aggressively when it reaches high temperatures. Wear an apron and keep your face back when stirring the jam base.
