๐ SMOKY HALAL BEEF & "BACON" SLIDERS ๐ฅฉ

๐ณ 1 Large frying pan
๐ฅ 1 Large stirring spoon
๐น 1 Cutting board
๐ช 1 Large knife
๐ฅฃ 1 Medium bowl
๐งค 1 Oven mitt
๐จ 1 Small spoon (for basting)
๐ THE INGREDIENTS
The Smoky Sauce
๐ง Onion 1 small (chopped very small)
๐ง Garlic 3 cloves (chopped very small)
๐ซ Olive oil 1 tablespoon
๐ง Salt & Pepper 1 small pinch each
๐ค Brown sugar 1 tablespoon
๐ถ๏ธ Smoked paprika 1 teaspoon
๐ Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon
๐ฅซ Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon (Halal certified)
๐ Tomato ketchup 1/2 cup
The Slider Patties
๐ฅ Halal Beef bacon 3 strips (chopped into tiny bits)
๐ง Shallot 1 small (chopped very small)
๐ฅฉ Halal Ground beef 500 grams (Halal substitute for pork)
๐ง Smoked cheddar cheese 8 small slices
๐ Small slider buns 8 pieces
๐ฅฌ Baby gem lettuce 1 head (shredded)
๐ Tomato 1 large (sliced thin)
๐จโ๐ณ THE METHOD
๐ณ Put your Large frying pan on the stove on Medium heat with Olive oil.
๐ง Add the Onion, Garlic, Salt, and Pepper. Stir for 5 Minutes until soft.
๐ค Add the Brown sugar and stir for 2 Minutes until the onions look like dark gold.
๐ถ๏ธ Stir in the Smoked paprika for 1 Minute so it smells smoky.
๐ Pour in the Apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Tomato ketchup.
๐ฅ Stir for 3 Minutes until it is thick like syrup, then move the sauce to a small jar.
๐งผ Wipe the pan clean. Put it back on the stove and cook the Halal Beef bacon and Shallot until they are crunchy.
๐ฅฃ In a Medium bowl, mix the Halal Ground beef with the crunchy bacon and shallot mixture.
๐ฅฉ Use your hands to make 8 balls the size of a golf ball. Flatten them gently with your fingers so they look like thick cookies.
๐ฅ Put the pan on Medium-High heat with a little more oil.
๐ฅฉ Put the patties in the pan. Cook for 3 Minutes on the first side.
๐ Flip the patties over. ๐จ Use a Small spoon to scoop the juices from the pan and pour them over the meat.
๐ง Put a slice of Smoked cheddar cheese on each patty and cook for 3 Minutes more until the cheese melts.
๐ Turn the stove dial to the Off position.
๐ Build your slider: Bun bottom $\rightarrow$ Lettuce $\rightarrow$ Tomato $\rightarrow$ Meat $\rightarrow$ Smoky Sauce $\rightarrow$ Bun top.

๐ฅฉ Raw Meat Clean-up: Always wash your hands and the Medium bowl with hot soapy water after touching the raw beef.
๐ฅ Hot Oil Pops: The bacon bits might pop in the pan. Wear your Oven mitt while stirring to protect your hand.
๐ช Thin Slices: When cutting the Tomato, keep the flat side down on the Cutting board so it doesn't roll away while you cut.
