π₯₯ TROPICAL COCONUT & GRAPE COOLER π
π± OVERVIEW
Total Time: 10 Minutes
Servings: 3 to 4 People
π οΈ THE KIT
πͺοΈ 1 High-speed blender
π§ͺ 1 Fine-mesh sieve (to strain the grape skins)
π₯£ 1 Large pitcher or bowl
π₯ 1 Long spoon
π§ Serving glasses (chilled if possible)
π THE INGREDIENTS
π Green grapes 400g (seedless and washed)
π₯₯ Coconut water 200 ml
π₯ Coconut milk 200g (full fat for extra creaminess)
π Ripe pineapple 1 medium (peeled, cored, and chopped)
π― Sweetened condensed milk 395g (one standard tinβomit or reduce for a lighter, less sweet drink)
πΏ Fresh mint leaves 4 (plus extra for garnish)
π§ Ice 2 cups (or more for a slushy texture)
π¨βπ³ THE METHOD
1. The Coconut-Grape Base (0β4 Mins)
πͺοΈ Blend: Place the washed Grapes, Coconut water, and Coconut milk in the blender. Whiz on high until the grapes are completely broken down.
π§ͺ Strain: Pour this mixture through your Fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Use a spoon to press down on the solids to get every drop of liquid. Discard the grape skins left in the sieve.
2. The Tropical Fusion (4β8 Mins)
πͺοΈ Return: Pour the strained liquid back into the clean blender jar.
π Build: Add the chopped Pineapple, Condensed milk (if using), and the 4 Mint leaves.
β³ Emulsify: Blend on high for a full 3 Minutes. This ensures the pineapple fibers are totally smooth and the mint is finely infused.
3. The Big Chill (8β10 Mins)
π§ Ice: Add the Ice to the blender and pulse or blend until the drink is frosty and chilled.
πΏ Garnish: Pour into tall glasses. Slap a fresh Mint sprig against your hand (to release the oils) and place it on top.
π‘οΈ SAFETY FIRST
πͺοΈ Blender "Blowout": Never fill your blender past the "Max" line. If you are making a double batch, blend it in two stages to avoid the lid flying off!
π Pineapple Enzymes: Fresh pineapple contains bromelain, which can make your tongue tingle. If you have a sensitive mouth, using chilled pineapple helps tone this down.
π§ Ice Slip: When handling ice from a tray or bag, use tongs or a scoop. Wet ice can be surprisingly slippery on a kitchen floor!
